Historically attached to the kingdom Sarde (Italy), Châtel becomes French in 1860 and develops its first tourist infrastructures since 1946 for today proposing a complete range of activities Be like Winter.
In Chatel possibilities of making toboggan
Châtel in summer, it is 65 kilometers of paths marked out for the excursion, 220 kilometers through "Les portes du soleil", a Vita course under wood, a lake, a track for roller, a practice of golf, a track of toboggan, ten grounds of french game of bowls etc.
